The Self Actualization Institute’s
Statements of Purpose

SAI PurposeIf you're feeling the call to Greatness, to be all that you can be and live a life of meaning, - we are committed to collaborate with you in its pursuit and its realization.

The Self Actualization Institute's purpose is to support the act of self-actualization: the desire to realize one’s full potential or to maximize one’s capabilities.

Inspired by the work of Dr Abraham Maslow, the great psychologist who scientifically studied the psychology of peak 'mental health', - it is our purpose here to expand his legacy and to practically apply the principles that have been scientifically modeled from self-actualizers.

The Self Actualization Institute is a non-profit organization with two core purposes:

1. Mastering the Art of Meaningful Living:
Effectively cultivating the habits of Greatness in our personal and organizational dimensions

The primary purpose of The Self Actualization Institute is to facilitate your self-actualization drive and inspire you to be all that you can be, with the proven tools, strategies and emotional support you need to get there.

Our primary mission is to most effectively transfer the researched habits of Great people, into your emotions, mind and body. The Institute helps members to cultivate the specific attitudes, skills sets and beliefs that high achieving, self-actualizing men and women possess.

We are committed to offering integral support in developing a meaningful and fulfilling life on all levels: health, career, social, emotional and spiritual. And this is by all means an art. We customize all programs to fit your personality, strengths and soul purpose. We create design life enhancements structured to fulfill your whole being, in all its aspects.

At an organizational level, we are committed to helping you design the work environment suitable for the fulfilling development of its people, and profitably meeting its mission in the marketplace. From defining the organizational plan to designing the marketing strategies, - we’ll help you to artfully align the personal missions of your team, with the organizational one.

2. Advancing the Science of Self Actualization:
Researching, refining and replicating the habits of the Greats

The internal or secondary purpose of Self Actualization Institute is to research the proven habits of Great men and women, to refine and streamline these habits into an elegant and congruent form, and to replicate these attitudes, behaviors and capabilities with others. We are in the pursuit of wisdom and its intelligent application.

The Institute is grounded primarily in the researched principles and body of work of the two great self-actualization researchers of last century: Dr Napoleon Hill and Dr Abraham Maslow. These two researchers have spent the majority of their lives interviewing, observing and documenting thousands of the most successful and self-actualized men and women in the world, - and by empirical evidence have delineated their specific traits and habits they all share.

Our purpose is to continue their work and evolve this self-actualization science. Above all, we seek to put this self-actualizing philosophy into action by making the knowledge practical, actionable and habitual.

The Self Actualization Institute is set on discovering and applying the best practices in creating personal and organizational transformations. Since to know but not to do is really not to know, we’re also committed to walking the talk and directly experiencing for ourselves the difference these wise principles make upon the quality of life.

The Author

John-James Angheli is a life coach and an active researcher into the science and practice of self-actualization. He is dedicated to helping others put into practice the habitual patterns of the great leaders and high achievers in our history. As such, he has critically analyzed and distilled the major principles as revealed by some of the most important research projects into the psychology of success.

As a lifelong learner, his coaching education has been diverse and extensive. It has evolved through the formal study of Architecture, a Masters in Business and his personal experience/ experimentation in facilitating goal-oriented coaching, hypnotherapy and meditation. Currently he is completing a Masters in Education (Leadership and Mentorship) at Monash University.

Dissatisfied with the 'relativism' of ideas in the personal development industry, (where one idea is as good as another), he started The Self Actualization Institute for the purpose of habituating only the principles and practices that have been modeled from high achievers themselves. This is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to put into action these known patterns for self-actualization.

With almost a decade of coaching experience and thousands of clients throughout the world, he is one of Australia’s most prominent life coaches. Mr. Angheli is also the founder of The Australian Life Coaching Society, which supports Australian life-coaches to advance the purpose of social contribution and altruism.

"Ever since I was a child, I have been fascinated by the process of personal transformation and how we go about realizing our dreams, passions and goals. In a world that encourages mediocrity and 'cuts down the toll poppies', it quickly became clear that the risky journey of being who you want to be and having the life you want - requires more than just a desire for it, but a remarkable support system and a set of workable plans.

My purpose is to help others by providing a powerful framework for personal change
and to make it as simple as following a gym program. The content of this course holistically supports the realization of one's goals,  in a way that makes a meaningful and long lasting difference."

John James Angheli
